The Technical Designer is an all-around designer who is responsible for leading the design and creation of a variety of 2D and 3D projects. Technical designers are part programmer and part designer and are responsible for actually implementing the majority of the gameplay in projects. They are the middleman between the programming and design departments. Duties can include writing system specification documents, designing systems, writing scripts, mocking up user interfaces, menus, and gameplay examples. Technical Designers can also implement level designs derived from instructional training lessons that depict scenarios and interactive events required for qualification and certification training. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will exercise some decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, document, implement, maintain, adapt and modify source code, assets, and game engine scripts for a variety of 2D and 3D projects • Ensure a cohesive design between user interaction, game mechanics, and application goals • Work with content developers to ensure proper implementation according to system specifications • Revise and update assets for functional efficiency and optimization to create a high fidelity interactive environment • Create and revise scenario sequences related to simulation training lessons within design specifications • Analyze functional/performance specifications for products • Participate in the development of software requirements • Participate in relevant aspects of application design with engineers and program management • Coordinate with team engineers to ensure proper implementation of programs according to system specific specifications • Create and manage game content within budget and achieve performance requirements • Ensure configuration management is maintained for all content developer team work products • Participate in the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules • Work with Quality Assurance to maintain standards and resolve issues that arise • Identify and resolve technical issues during development • Participate in general content integration and work with other developers to optimize integration processes • Respond to and resolve technical issues during development and participate in content integration efforts • Work within deadline and budgetary constraints • Incorporate new technologies into products and development pipelines as directed
Required Skills / Qualifications:
• A college diploma in Game Design, Project Management, or equivalent (undergraduate degree an asset) • 1+ shipped/live titles in a Technical Designer role • Experience with visual scripting (ex: Unreal Blueprints), text-base is also valid • Solid game design knowledge, and a willingness to contribute to feature design in addition to implementation • Passion for fostering an inclusive and diverse “team-first” culture based on fun. Account Executive, Advertising Sales
Role Description
We’re looking for an Account Executive to help us to continue to grow our Advertiser Partnerships. The individual’s primary responsibilities will be to identify, prospect, build relationships, negotiate and close deals with advertiser partners to help them achieve their user acquisition/app installs growth important metrics. What you’ll be doing
Handle the entire sales process, including identification of new prospects, pitching, recommendation of growth strategy based on client needs and fit with our advertiser products, coordination with Legal on IO agreements and hand-off to relevant account management teams.
- Be responsible for your book of business and own your Salesforce pipeline to reflect the sales process and use internal BI and analytical tools to drive business decisions, process decisions and improvements.
- Continuously look for new sales verticals that can benefit from EARPHIA’s suite of ad products and represent MY META WORLD at industry events and conferences and lead our team’s presence at each event.
- Be an expert in the User Acquisition, Growth and Mobile industry. Stay on top of industry news to leverage and tailor your sales approach.
- Collect customer feedback to improve sales pitch and strategies and to provide internal Marketing and Product teams on market needs and opportunities.
What we're looking for
- A validated experience in sales or business development, gaming, advertising, affiliate, agency or supply partnerships.
- History of consistently reaching sales quotas/attainment targets.
- Strong understanding of how mobile ad networks operate, including familiarity with associated business models and ad products (CPI, CPA, CPE), ad serving technology, ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, etc.
- Ability to intimately understand and articulate technical products and services.

What you’ll be doing
- Complete the full sales process from identifying, through to closing, new customer and partnership opportunities
- Creatively thinking and crafting our strategy around the industries, including pricing, product, and market strategies
